Albert Gadbut is the founder of AcquireWeb. Over the last 12 years, Gadbut has held management positions in both biotech and high-tech industries. Prior to founding AcquireWeb, Mr. Gadbut developed the product delivery and fulfillment process and best practices for Email Appending while employed at Responsys, an online direct marketing service provider. Prior to joining Responsys, Mr. Gadbut was the Director of Business Development for Bio-Protocol, an online Bioscience information portal. Before his involvement with information technology companies, Mr. Gadbut held a Senior Scientist position in the Department of Molecular Pharmacology at MetaXen, a company focused on streamlining the drug discovery process. Mr. Gadbut has held faculty positions in the Departments of Medicine, Cardiology at University of California at San Francisco and Harvard Medical School in Boston. Albert Gadbut holds a B.S. in Biology from Northern Illinois University, a Ph.D. in Neuroscience from the University of Illinois and completed a Post Doctoral Fellowship at Harvard Medical School. Currently, Mr. Gadbut serves on the Northern Illinois University College of Business Interactive Marketing Advisory Board.
General Manager Jay Dean brings to Acquireweb a 30-year career of marketing management, data analysis and software development noted for success in finding innovative solutions to large-scale problems. Jay has designed and developed software for major corporations and software manufacturers, creating custom business solutions at Lex Software and designing Analytical Applications as a Senior Software Architect at Hyperion. In a decade as an independant consultant, Dean provided analytical skills and software design services to both businesses and government.
At Dole, his team was responsible for the introduction of successful new juice products, achieving over $300 million in sales.
He left Dole in 1989 to join noted marketing and sales consultancy Glendinning Associates as a Vice President, focusing on the development of new decision support and sales tools.

20 years ago Barney started his career in Data used for marketing to businesses and consumers and has been deeply involved in the growth and development of both start-up and fortune 500 companies ever since. His experience includes founding companies like Direct Response Decks, Direct Response Lists and IP Revolution. Helping build out young companies like Vente and eFrame. As well as senior level management positions with large global organizations like Experian, InfoGroup and Inacom.
For most of the last decade Barney’s focus has been the development and sale of Digital applications of data including eMail, Online Lead Generation, Digital Audience segmentation, Digital Lead Validation / Enhancement and Digital Display Advertising.
Prior to his career in Data and Marketing he attended Miami University of Ohio for two years before coming home to help with the family business, ultimately graduating from the University of Nebraska Omaha.
