
Sr. VP of Marketing and Sales
Mr. Alison is a veteran direct marketer and online media innovator, having worked extensively both on the client and agency
sides of the table. Early in his career he was a Vice President at two Madison Avenue direct marketing agencies, Wunderman and the DM Group, in addition to subsequent consulting for a number of major ad agencies, media companies and their clients. In the database marketing arena, Tom was formerly VP of Direct Channels for infoUSA, providing sales leads and database services direct to large corporations and small businesses. He was previously EVP at NordicTrack, responsible for both direct marketing and retail divisions. Also, as EVP at HSN, he was responsible for marketing, telemarketing, catalogs and all off-network direct marketing. For a number of years, Tom was a principal of a consulting practice providing strategic consulting and new media development to high profile clients. Tom most recently was a Senior Vice President at SendTec, a multichannel direct response and search agency, where he was responsible for building a significant portion of their business. Mr. Alison has an undergraduate degree in psychology and an MBA from Harvard.
VP of Business Development
As an active member of the Direct Marketing Association, Mr. Slater serves on many committees setting new standards in the direct marketing industry. Mr. Slater was most recently Senior Vice President of Sales at iMatcher, Inc., an e-mail append firm. There his responsibilities included building a national sales force and directing the overall
marketing effort. Mr. Slater joined iMatcher from Advansar / The Larkin Group, a publishing and trade show firm where he served as Director of Special Projects, focusing on Business Development and serving on the Merger and Acquisition Team.
Previously, Mr. Slater spent 22 years as a partner in Slater Publications and Expositions, helping them become the largest regional trade show producer in the United States. Mr. Slater attended Marshall University, majoring in engineering. He continued his education at Ohio State University, where he majored in Aeronautical and Astronautical Engineering and Business.
