    Sr. VP of Marketing and Sales

    Mr. Alison is a veteran direct marketer and online media innovator, having worked extensively both on the client and agency sides of the table. Early in his career he was a Vice President at two Madison Avenue direct marketing agencies, Wunderman and the DM Group, in addition to subsequent consulting for a number of major ad agencies, media companies and their clients. In the database marketing arena, Tom was formerly VP of Direct Channels for infoUSA, providing sales leads and database services direct to large corporations and small businesses. He was previously EVP at NordicTrack, responsible for both direct marketing and retail divisions. Also, as EVP at HSN, he was responsible for marketing, telemarketing, catalogs and all off-network direct marketing. For a number of years, Tom was a principal of a consulting practice providing strategic consulting and new media development to high profile clients. Tom most recently was a Senior Vice President at SendTec, a multichannel direct response and search agency, where he was responsible for building a significant portion of their business. Mr. Alison has an undergraduate degree in psychology and an MBA from Harvard.

    Albert Gadbut is the founder of AcquireWeb. Over the last 12 years, Gadbut has held management positions in both biotech and high-tech industries. Prior to founding AcquireWeb, Mr. Gadbut developed the product delivery and fulfillment process and best practices for Email Appending while employed at Responsys, an online direct marketing service provider. Prior to joining Responsys, Mr. Gadbut was the Director of Business Development for Bio-Protocol, an online Bioscience information portal. Before his involvement with information technology companies, Mr. Gadbut held a Senior Scientist position in the Department of Molecular Pharmacology at MetaXen, a company focused on streamlining the drug discovery process. Mr. Gadbut has held faculty positions in the Departments of Medicine, Cardiology at University of California at San Francisco and Harvard Medical School in Boston. Albert Gadbut holds a B.S. in Biology from Northern Illinois University, a Ph.D. in Neuroscience from the University of Illinois and completed a Post Doctoral Fellowship at Harvard Medical School. Currently, Mr. Gadbut serves on the Northern Illinois University College of Business Interactive Marketing Advisory Board.

    PII is any information that can be used to identify or locate a particular person or entity. The Platform contains consumer names, postal addresses, email address, and phone numbers. We often augment the Platform with additional PII from other Data partners, such as fax number.

    Non-Personally Identifiable Information (“Non-PII”).
    Non-PII is information that may not be used to identify or locate a particular person or entity. The Platform contains the following Non-PII: IP address, the date and time someone provided his information to one of our customers, and demographic information such as age range or gender.

    What do you do with the information complied in the Platform?
    We use this information to help our clients enhance their direct mail, email and online marketing and advertising campaigns. Our clients use the information to better understand consumer behavior and to tailor advertising messages to individual consumer interests. For example:

    Email Appends – We enable our Clients, which include your favorite retailers and catalog companies, to append email addresses onto their existing customer and prospective customer records so that they may send you a marketing email to compliment the catalogs that they may already send to you. Prior to providing your email address to our of our clients, the Platform will send you an email to ask your permission.

    Data Enhancement – Similarly, we enable our Clients to add additional PII and Non-PII to their customer and prospective customer records.

    Does the Service use Cookies?
    Our Service uses cookies and web beacons. Cookies are small text files that contain a string of alphanumeric characters. We use cookies and web beacons to help us understand whether you’ve opened an email deployed from our Service. We also use cookies and web beacons to enable our Clients to tailor online ads to your preferences. You can remove cookies by following directions provided in your Internet browser’s “help” file.     Opting out from targeted advertising
    If you’d like to opt-out from having your information used by us to tailor your online advertisements, emails and postal mail, we offer an online opt-out form. You may reach that form by clicking here. When you complete the form, your information will be suppressed from the database. Your opt-out request will be processed in 10 days.

    Unsubscribing / Opting out from Emails
    All email communications sent by AcquireWeb have clear instructions on how to unsubscribe from future communications. This can be accomplished in several ways including clicking on the unsubscribe link within an email or replying to the email indicating you no longer wish to receive communications.

    Information Relating to Children
    Our products and services are designed for those 18 years of age and older. We do not knowingly collect PII from anyone under the age of 13. If we are made aware that we have received PII from someone under 13, we will use reasonable efforts to remove that information from our records.

    Disclosure of Information to Third Parties
    We share PII and Non-PII with our Clients as described above. We may also share your PII with trusted third party contractors who provide services for us. These third party contractors are prohibited from using the information we provide for purposes other than performing services for us.
